Baby and Child Friendly Holiday Homes in Scotland
We know there is no such thing as travelling light with children so we provide a travel cot, highchair and nursey fireguard in all our holiday homes. Both Holly House and Hazel Lodge have stairgates, ramped access to the front door and tarmac driveways for ease of pushchair or pram propelling Holly House and Hazel Lodge both have fully enclosed gardens for safe playtimes ( a selection of garden games are provided) and share use of our super games barn which sits beside the holiday homes and has an enormous 18 foot trampoline with safety net, table tennis table, pool table, dart board and a selection of fun ride on farm toys. We have acres of fields and open space on the farm to enjoy, play and picnic and The Kilry Burn for paddling in our lower fields. Older children are welcome to bring a tent and camp if they wish.
All our houses have a selection of childrens books, games and toys.
Please note that West Lodge and Angel’s Wood cabin both sit in wooded grounds close to Lintrathen Loch which is a wonderland for outdoor activities, swimming, canoeing, tree climbing and exploring but great care must be taken especially with younger children given the fact the grounds are not fully fenced and the Loch is so close by. A quaint spiral stair in the Lodge also means we can’t offer a stairgate.
